1951: Toting Guns Into Rocky Mountain National Park
Cataloged This Week: A vehicle permit issued to a group of gun-toting travelers who entered Rocky Mountain National Park through the now-closed Thompson River entrance (shut down in 1960).
This 1951 permit appears to have been issued to a Hudson. The following guns are listed in the top-left corner: 30-06 Springfield, 12-gauge shotgun, and a .22 rifle.
