A 1960s Ski Idlewild Lift Ticket
A historic lift ticket from the now defunct ski area has been added to the collection.
This lift ticket is the most recent addition to the Coloradotopia Archives Collection. This comes from Ski Idlewild. This ski area operated between 1961 and 1986, and was located in what is now downtown Winter Park.
After the ski area closed in 1986, Devil's Thumb Ranch continued to maintain a series of Nordic skiing trails through the area. These trails are still accessible today as part of a large trail network.

A Large Glass Slide for Next Week
This slide has an image of the Berthoud Pass Continental Divide sign that is likely going to date to sometime in the mid-1940s. This one will require some careful photography on the light table because it won’t fit in the scanner that is used for regular slides.
